Founded in 1977 Benson Bruin Jr. Football and Cheer began as non-profit youth organization dedicated to providing the Renton area youth with wholesome development through their association with adult coaches, working as a team in an environment of safety and teamwork, Today Benson Jr Football and Cheer continues to develop well rounded children at every level who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheerleading but also the importance of education, teamwork and leadership. We believe these lessons will carry with them throughout their lives as well as teach them to give back to their communities.

Combined, our coaching staff has over 100 years experience and is the most dedicated staff returning year after year. Devoting their time to volunteer with Benson Bruins and encouraging others to do the same. Benson promotes the wholesome development of youth, creating a family environment. Every member of our team is dedicated to creating an atmosphere conducive to developing sound character while having a good time.

Benson Bruin Jr Football and Cheer is a strong member in our community and we believe that everyone can make a difference! We believe that ALL kids deserve equal opportunities, special attention, and respect.

Our philosophy is to allow our parents to participate through various volunteer opportunities. This program is for the kids, and the more people that help children succeed the better our community will be.

2) To provide a wholesome competitiveness within the scope of our rules and regulations that will protect the youth athlete.

3) To influence life-long values of teamwork, dedication , leadership, and a top work ethic on the playing field and in everything they do.

4) Provide an all-inclusive environment; No try-outs or cutting rosters.

As part of Benson Bruins, it is our promise to treat your family with dignity and respect. Our coaches participate in risk management training and coaches clinics to ensure youth athletes are safe. Coaches are teaching from national rule books incorporating time tested methods and strategies. Our executive staff supports all communication, creates sound polices and makes decisions based on best business practices.
